Error: GET https://prod-02-ue-1-backend.api.prod-clumio.com/api/bootstraprZ.: expected 200, got 403

Symptoms

When configuring a Cloud Connector VM via the interactive console, administrators are required to apply settings before they take effect. Upon doing so, the Cloud Connector VM will run a validation test to ensure proper setup and networking prerequisites are met for VM to cloud connectivity.

In the case that Cloud Connector VM is configured with a token that has been expired or deleted from the Clumio web console, the apply settings workflow may result in the following failure:

Failed to apply configuration

• GET https://prod-02-ue-1-backend.api.prod-clumio.com/api/bootstraprZ.: expected 200, got 403

Resolution

If the error message is observed when applying the Cloud Connector VM settings, please confirm whether the token matches by reviewing the VM vApp settings and appropriate vCenter.
